Drugs in Sport Information for teachers

The information within this section is a cross-curricular resource for teachers of Years 8-10.  The Drugs in Sport resource is for use in the learning areas of Health & PhysEd and English.The Drugs in Sport resource provides a range of cross-curricular activities for teachers to use to introduce a drugs in sport perspective into their existing curriculum units.  The resource and the outcomes-based activities closely follow the School Drug Education Project framework and is guided by the WA Curriculum Framework.  An outcomes approach means identifying what students should achieve and focusing on ensuring that they do achieve the learning outcomes.  The Drugs in Sport learning activities are suitable for Phases 3 & 4 of the WA Curriculum Framework learning areas of English and Health & PhysEd.
